LUCAS

Compressions that never tire.

LUCAS 3.1 delivers continuous chest compressions with a piston and suction cup at a set depth and rate, so rescuers are free for airway, drugs and defibrillation and can stay belted in a moving ambulance. Applying it takes two steps, back plate then upper part, with a median 7-second pause in compressions in clinical use. Rate (102, 111 or 120/min), depth (45–53 mm) and ventilation alerts can be configured, and Wi-Fi links the device to Stryker's LIFENET system for post-event reports and fleet status. The optional radiotranslucent PCI back plate allows CPR to continue in the cath lab.

Why the LUCAS 3.1

High-quality CPR, every time

A piston and suction cup deliver guideline-consistent depth and rate without fatigue, and the soft-start and force control adapt to each chest.

Safer transport

Compressions continue on stairs, in lifts and in a moving ambulance or aircraft, so crews can stay seated and belted.

On in seconds

Back plate first, then the upper part: a median 7-second interruption when switching from manual to mechanical CPR in clinical use.

Set to your protocol

Configure rate, depth, ventilation alerts, pause length and CPR timer through LIFENET, and push one setup to the whole fleet over Wi-Fi.

Into the cath lab

The optional radiotranslucent PCI back plate keeps compressions going during angiography, PCI or ECMO cannulation, reducing staff X-ray exposure.

Where it is used

Ambulances and air ambulances, emergency departments, cardiac cath labs and in-hospital resuscitation teams.
