UESCOPE

See the cords. Pass the tube.

The UESCOPE VL460 mounts a 150 g, 3-inch touchscreen monitor directly on single-use video blades, giving an indirect view of the glottis for tracheal intubation. UE's signature blade combines a shallow Macintosh base with a 45° angled tip, designed to improve the glottic view while still allowing a stylet or bougie. The monitor tilts and rotates, auto-records to 32 GB of memory and runs up to 200 minutes per charge. The earlier VL400 system offers reusable blades, disposable sheaths and a video stylet on one monitor.

Why the UESCOPE VL460

45° angled tip

A shallow Macintosh-style base with a 45° tip aims to improve glottic exposure while keeping tube delivery with a stylet or bougie straightforward.

Light and balanced

The 150 g monitor sits directly on the blade, so the scope stays balanced in the hand with no cable or separate screen.

One blade per patient

Single-use Model D blades remove reprocessing of the blade; Models A and C use reusable handles with disposable covers for high-volume theatres.

Recorded for teaching

Auto-recording, snapshots and 32 GB of memory capture each intubation for QA and training, with USB-C transfer to a computer.

Sizes 0 to 4

Miller, Macintosh, mid-angulated and channelled blades in sizes 0 to 4 cover paediatric to adult airways from one monitor.

Where it is used

Operating theatres, emergency departments, intensive care, and EMS and pre-hospital airway management.

Questions

Is the UESCOPE VL460 available in the UAE and the GCC?

KGG sources the UESCOPE VL460, its blades and handles on request for hospitals, clinics and ambulance services in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman. It is supplied subject to registration in each destination country, and availability is confirmed with each quotation.

How do I get a price?

Add the UESCOPE VL460 to your quote list or use Request a quote. We reply with pricing, lead time and the documents for your country, and can quote the monitor with a starter mix of blade sizes.

How does the 45° blade differ from a hyperangulated blade?

UE describes its blade as a shallow Macintosh base with a 45° tip, compared with about 60° on hyperangulated blades. The aim is a better glottic view than a Macintosh blade while keeping stylet and bougie use straightforward.

Model A, C or D: which should we choose?

Model D uses fully single-use video blades, convenient for EMS and low-volume areas. Models A and C use reusable handles with disposable covers, which lowers running cost in busy theatres; Model C suits teams moving up from the VL400.

How is the monitor cleaned?

Blades are single-use. Wipe the monitor with approved disinfecting wipes such as 70% isopropyl alcohol; it is not waterproof (IPX3), must not be submerged or autoclaved, and must not be exposed to more than 60 °C.

Is it suitable for ambulances in Gulf heat?

The VL460 is rated for operation from 5 to 40 °C and storage from −40 to 55 °C. Keep it out of direct sun and closed vehicles at peak summer temperatures, and recharge it every 2–3 months in standby.
