Why the GlideScope Go 2

Built for the field

Certified to IEC 60601-1-12 for EMS, temperature- and vibration-tested for road and air ambulances, and rated for transient use from −20 to 50 °C.

Rugged and submersible

Scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass and an IP67 rating protect against dust and temporary immersion, and the monitor can be fully submerged for cleaning.

Click, see, intubate

Magnetic QuickConnect seats Spectrum QC blades in one motion and lets clinicians swap blades without powering down. Dynamic Light Control optimises brightness at the vocal cords.

Recorded for QA

Auto-record, snapshots and playback on the touchscreen, with up to 40 hours of video on board and encrypted export to a USB-C drive for quality review.

Same blades as Core

Spectrum QC blades are interchangeable between the Go 2 and the GlideScope Core, so one blade stock can serve the ward, theatre and ambulance.

Where it is used

Operating theatres, emergency departments, intensive and critical care units, and EMS in vans, buses and aircraft including helicopters and fixed-wing ambulances.

In the box

GlideScope Go 2 monitor and monitor power adapter (0800-0665). Questions

Is the GlideScope Go 2 available in the UAE and the GCC?

KGG sources the GlideScope Go 2 on request for hospitals, clinics and ambulance services in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman. It is supplied subject to registration in each destination country, and availability is confirmed with each quotation.

How do I get a price?

Add the GlideScope Go 2 to your quote list or use Request a quote. We reply with pricing, lead time and the documents for your country, and can quote Spectrum QC blades and a charging cradle with it.

How is the Go 2 different from the original GlideScope Go?

Both weigh about 250 g with a 3.5-inch screen and about 100 minutes of battery. The Go 2 adds a Gorilla Glass touchscreen, magnetic QuickConnect for Spectrum QC blades, 32 GB of onboard storage and EMS certification. It does not accept the original Spectrum blades used by the Go.

Go 2 or GlideScope Core?

The Go 2 is a pocket-sized monitor for transport, EMS, wards and backup airway carts. The Core is a 10- or 15-inch hospital system that also runs reusable Titanium blades and BFlex bronchoscopes. Both use Spectrum QC blades.

Which blade sizes are available, including paediatric?

Spectrum QC and QC eco blades come in Hyperangle S1–S4, MAC S1–S4 and Miller S00–S2, in boxes of 10, which covers paediatric to adult patients. The Video Baton QC Large takes GVL 3 and GVL 4 Stats for adults.

How is it cleaned between patients?

Blades and Stats are single-use. The monitor is IP67-rated and can be fully submerged for cleaning; follow Verathon's GlideScope and GlideRite Products Reprocessing Manual, and dry the USB-C port before charging.
