HugeMed
A fresh blade. Every airway.
The VL3D and VL4D combine a reusable handle and rotating display with single-use Macintosh-style blades, so the device is ready for the next patient without waiting for blade reprocessing. The VL3D has a 3.5-inch display and the VL4D a 4-inch display. The screen tilts 140° up and down and swivels 180° side to side, and one button takes snapshots or, with a long press, records video. An anti-fog camera and a 3,400 mAh battery give about 120 minutes of continuous use.
Key specifications
Why the HugeMed VL3D / VL4D
Ready at any time
Single-use blades remove the wait for blade sterilisation between patients, so the laryngoscope is ready for the next intubation straight away.
Eight blade shapes
Five standard Macintosh blades (Mac 1 to Mac 5) and three channelled blades (CMac 3 to CMac 5) cover routine and tube-guided intubations.
Clear, rigid blades
Blades are moulded in one piece from high-transparency polycarbonate and fit snugly over the handle's internal curve to resist breakage.
Screen where you need it
The display tilts 140° and swivels 180°, and the anti-fog camera warms up quickly to keep the view clear.
Record with one button
Press once for a snapshot, hold for video. A 3,400 mAh battery runs for about two hours on a full charge.
Where it is used
Operating theatres, intensive care units, emergency departments, outpatient departments and out-of-hospital emergency care, as listed by HugeMed.
