Veinlite
See the vein. Treat the vein.
The Veinlite LEDX uses side-transillumination: a ring of 24 orange and 8 red LEDs lights the skin and subcutaneous tissue from the side without shadow, so veins show as dark lines. Orange light suits small superficial veins on fair skin, and red light deeper veins or darker skin. The C-shaped opening lets the clinician inject sclerosant directly into the visualised vein. Single-use plastic covers keep the device off the patient's skin between treatments.
Key specifications
Why the Veinlite LEDX
Built for sclerotherapy
The C-shaped opening frames the target vein so sclerosant can be injected through the device while the vein stays visible.
Feeder veins revealed
Wide, shadow-free side-transillumination shows reticular feeder veins under spider veins, along with valves and bifurcations up to 6 mm deep.
Two colours, more skin types
Orange LEDs for fine superficial veins on fair skin; red LEDs for deeper veins and darker skin tones. TransLite also indicates it for bariatric patients.
Clean between patients
Single-use plastic covers follow INS and CDC infection-control guidance, and the light shield and paediatric adapter snap on without tools.
Hours on one charge
A rechargeable lithium-ion battery gives about 300 minutes of continuous use, with a low-battery warning and a user-replaceable cell.
Where it is used
Vein and phlebology clinics, dermatology and aesthetic practices offering sclerotherapy, and vascular access in patients with difficult veins.

Questions
Is the Veinlite LEDX available in the UAE and the GCC?

How do I get a price?
Add it to your quote list or use Request a quote. We reply with pricing, lead time and the documents for your country, and can include boxes of VLEDX disposable covers.
How is the LEDX different from other Veinlite models?
TransLite designed the LEDX specifically for sclerotherapy, with what it calls the largest vein visualisation area and the widest opening for treatment. Other Veinlite models, such as the LED+, EMS Pro, PEDI2 and NEO, are separate products with their own covers.
Orange or red light: when do I use which?
TransLite advises orange for small superficial veins on fair skin and red for deeper veins or darkly pigmented skin. Each colour has its own button on the side of the device.
Does it replace ultrasound?
Not for deeper varicose veins: TransLite positions the LEDX for telangiectasias, reticular and spider veins, with no gel and both hands free for injection. Duplex ultrasound remains the tool for deeper venous assessment.
How do I keep it clean between patients?
Use a new single-use plastic cover for every patient and wipe it with a germicidal wipe before use. The device must not be autoclaved or exposed to liquids, and alcohol can fog the clear window.
