iCare
Eye pressure. No drops.
The iCare IC100 measures intraocular pressure with iCare's patented rebound technology: a light, single-use probe touches the cornea briefly and the device calculates IOP from its motion. No anaesthetic drops, air or calibration are needed, so measurement is quick and well tolerated, including by children and other patients who find tonometry difficult. A red or green light on the probe base confirms alignment, and one button takes a single reading or a rapid six-measurement series.
Key specifications
Why the iCare IC100
No drops, no air
Rebound measurement needs no topical anaesthetic, air puff or calibration, so IOP can be taken in seconds without preparation.
Suits every patient
Well tolerated by children and patients who struggle with other tonometers. Measurements are taken with the patient sitting or standing.
Guided alignment
A red or green light on the probe base shows whether the device is correctly positioned before the measurement sequence runs.
Hygienic single-use probes
Each measurement uses a sterile, single-use iCare TP01 probe, supporting hygienic IOP measurement from patient to patient.
Where it is used
Ophthalmology and optometry clinics, hospitals, optical shops, paediatric eye care and glaucoma screening programmes.
