PICO
NPWT without the canister.
PICO is a single-use NPWT system: a small pump attaches to a four-layer silicone dressing that manages low to moderate exudate within the dressing, so no canister is needed. AIRLOCK Technology delivers a nominal −80 mmHg across the dressing, even without a complete seal in benchtop testing. PICO 7 runs for up to 7 days; PICO 14 has an enhanced pump for up to 14 days of use with dressing changes up to every 7 days. Visual alerts show air leaks, low battery and a full dressing.
Key specifications
Why the PICO sNPWT
No canister to manage
The four-layer dressing handles low to moderate exudate within the dressing itself, so there is no tubing to a canister and nothing to empty.
Consistent pressure
AIRLOCK Technology spreads a nominal −80 mmHg across the dressing, and in benchtop testing maintained it even without a complete seal.
Seven or fourteen days
PICO 7 gives up to 7 days of therapy. PICO 14 extends use to 14 days from one pump, with dressings changed up to every 7 days.
Clear alerts
Lights show an air leak, low battery or a full dressing, and a start-date field helps teams plan changes.
Where it is used
Operating theatres and surgical wards for closed incisions and flaps, wound clinics for venous leg and diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, burns and grafts, and home care after discharge.
In the box
