NATROX Wound Care
Oxygen at the wound. Around the clock.
NATROX O2 generates oxygen from room air by water electrolysis and delivers a continuous, humidified flow to the wound bed, 24 hours a day. A small Oxygen Generator connects through fine tubing to a sterile, single-use Oxygen Delivery System (ODS) placed on the wound under the clinician's chosen dressing. There are no buttons, menus or alarms: the patient slides in a charged battery and swaps it daily. It is intended for wounds healing by secondary intention, including diabetic foot ulcers, leg ulcers and pressure injuries.
Key specifications
Why the NATROX O2
Oxygen, generated on the body
The generator produces oxygen from room air by water electrolysis, so there are no cylinders, concentrators or oxygen lines to manage.
Nothing to set
No buttons, menus or flow adjustment. Slide in a charged battery and the device starts; a flashing green light shows it is working.
Fits the existing dressing plan
The thin ODS sits on the wound bed under most standard dressings, including under total contact casts and over skin grafts, according to the manufacturer.
Silent and wearable
Small and lightweight enough to wear all day and night, so therapy continues through normal daily activity.
Where it is used
Wound clinics, diabetic foot services, community nursing and home care, for diabetic foot ulcers, venous, arterial and mixed leg ulcers, pressure injuries and non-healing surgical wounds.

Questions
Is the NATROX O2 available in the UAE and the GCC?

How do I get a price?
Add it to your quote list or use Request a quote. We reply with pricing, lead time and the documents available for your country.
How often are the battery and the ODS changed?
A fully charged battery lasts up to 24 hours, so patients keep one charging while the other is in use and swap daily. The ODS is changed with each dressing change, at least once a week.
Which wounds is it intended for?
Wounds healing by secondary intention, such as diabetic foot ulcers, venous, arterial and mixed leg ulcers, pressure injuries, and surgical and traumatic wounds. It must be prescribed by a clinician.
Can it be used with other therapies?
The maker states it can be used under total contact casting and over skin substitutes and graft sites. It advises against topical creams, gels and debriding agents under the ODS, and notes there is no evidence for combined use with NPWT.
Does it need an oxygen supply?
No. The generator makes oxygen from the surrounding air by water electrolysis, so no cylinder or concentrator is required.
