NEXA
Eight weeks of therapy. One small pump.
NEXA is a disposable, multi-week NPWT system for acute, extended and home care. A small pump draws exudate into a flexible 120 ml EcoPouch fluid container, while the pressure is set by the dressing chosen (−75 mmHg or −125 mmHg) through a relief valve in the SmartFlow connector rather than by the user. One button turns it on; the device runs for about 10 hours per charge and carries 1,344 hours of therapy that can move from one patient to the next after cleaning. It is prescribed for chronic, acute, surgical and traumatic wounds, flaps, grafts and partial-thickness burns.
Key specifications
Why the NEXA NPWT
Pressure set by the dressing
Choose a −75 or −125 mmHg dressing and the SmartFlow connector's relief valve limits the pressure at the wound. There is no pressure setting for the user to change.
One device, several patients
Therapy hours are only used while the pump runs. After a wipe-down, the remaining hours carry over to the next patient, up to 1,344 hours in total.
Less plastic to store
The flexible 120 ml EcoPouch replaces a rigid canister and takes less shelf space; it is changed at least weekly, ideally twice a week.
Simple to run
One button, a green running light and a carry case. The pump starts at high speed for three minutes to draw down the dressing, then drops to normal speed.
Where it is used
Hospitals, long-term care and home care on a clinician's prescription, for pressure, diabetic foot and venous leg ulcers, surgical and dehisced wounds, flaps, grafts and partial-thickness burns.

Questions
Is the NEXA NPWT available in the UAE and the GCC?
KGG sources NEXA on request for hospitals, long-term care and home-care providers in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman, supplied subject to registration in each destination country. Availability is confirmed with each quotation.
How do I get a price?
Add it to your quote list or use Request a quote. We reply with pricing, lead time and the documents available for your country.
Who makes NEXA?
NEXA is marketed by AOTI (Advanced Oxygen Therapy Inc.), which acquired the platform from its UK developer, Nexa Medical Limited. AOTI also makes TWO2 topical oxygen therapy.
Does it have leak or blockage alarms?
No. The IFU states the device has no audible or visual alarms for leaks or blockages, so the dressing and device should be checked regularly through the day. It does give battery-low and end-of-life alerts.
Can it run in hot conditions?
The maker specifies operation between 5 and 40 °C and charging at about 20 °C ± 5 °C. Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources, which matters for home care in Gulf summers.
What consumables are needed?
Sterile NEXA dressings in −75 or −125 mmHg versions, changed every 48–72 hours, and EcoPouch fluid containers, changed at least weekly. Foam and drape are also available separately.
