Glucology
Cool insulin. Just add water.
Each Glucology bag has an inner pouch filled with crystals that turn into a cooling gel after a few minutes in cold water. Once activated, the maker states the pouch holds its contents between 18 and 26 °C for up to 45 hours, and it can be reactivated by soaking again. A polycotton outer cover protects the pouch. Sizes range from a vials wallet to an XL wallet for five pens, for travel, work, sport and daily use.

How do I get a price?
Add it to your quote list or use Request a quote. We reply with pricing, lead time and the documents for your country.
Does it work like a fridge?
No. Glucology states a range of 18 to 26 °C, which suits in-use insulin and GLP-1 pens. It is not a substitute for refrigerated storage of unopened stock. Always follow the medicine maker's storage instructions.
How does it cope with Gulf heat?
The maker notes that cooling performance varies with heat, humidity and airflow. Evaporative cooling works less well in very humid air, so keep the wallet out of direct sun and parked cars, and reactivate it more often in summer.
How long before it can be reused?
It can be reactivated straight away by soaking it again. To store it dry, the gel takes 2 to 4 weeks to return to crystals; shake it gently every few days to stop clumping.
Which size should I choose?
Large holds 2 pens, the Zip Wallet 4 pens and the XL 5 pens. The vials wallet takes 2 syringes with 5 ml or 10 ml vials, or up to four 5 ml vials.
