FRIO
Cool insulin. Just add water.
FRIO wallets use the maker's patented crystal technology: the inner wallet is activated in cold water and then keeps its contents cool by evaporation. FRIO states contents stay within 18–26 °C for a minimum of 45 hours, even at a constant 37.8 °C, and that recharging takes under 5 minutes. No fridge, ice pack or power is needed. Sizes run from the single-pen Individual to the Extra Large for several pens, vials or prefilled syringes.

Does FRIO work in Gulf summer heat?
FRIO's claim is 18–26 °C for at least 45 hours at a constant 37.8 °C. Outdoor Gulf temperatures can be higher, so keep the wallet out of direct sun, in a bag or shaded place, and re-soak it as soon as it starts to flatten.
Can it store unopened insulin stock?
FRIO describes its wallets for keeping in-use insulin and other temperature-sensitive medicines cool. Follow the storage instructions on each medicine's own label for unopened stock.
Which size do I need?
The Individual takes one pen; the Large and Extra Large take several pens, vials or prefilled syringes; the Pump wallet suits insulin pumps. Inner wallet dimensions are listed in the specifications.
Do I need the waterproof liner?
FRIO advises a waterproof liner when the wallet holds metal pens or any device with electronic components, to protect them from moisture.
