TCC-EZ
Offloading, made simpler.
Total contact casting reduces pressure on a diabetic foot ulcer as the patient stands and walks, shifting load to the lower leg and spreading the rest across the whole sole. TCC-EZ replaces the several rolls of a traditional cast with a single woven, roll-on fibreglass casting component, which Integra states can be applied in under five minutes. Each kit includes the padding, stockinette and dressing needed for one application, with optional walking boots. It is intended for non-infected wounds with adequate blood supply.
Key specifications
Why the TCC-EZ
One roll, not several
A single woven fibreglass component replaces the multiple rolls of a traditional total contact cast, cutting steps and variability in application.
Offloads while walking
The cast carries part of the body weight through the lower leg and spreads the rest across the whole sole, reducing pressure, shear and friction at the ulcer.
Everything for one cast
Each casting system includes the sock, protective sleeve, stockinette, pressure-point padding, tape and primary dressing, so one kit equals one application.
Lightweight, open weave
The open-weave design keeps the cast light and lets air through, which helps comfort during continuous wear between changes.
Where it is used
Diabetic foot clinics, podiatry and wound care services, and orthopaedic outpatient departments, applied and removed under the supervision of a physician or licensed clinician.

Questions
Is the TCC-EZ available in the UAE and the GCC?

How do I get a price?
Add it to your quote list or use Request a quote. We reply with pricing, lead time and the documents available for your country.
How is it different from a traditional total contact cast?
A traditional cast is built from several rolls of plaster or fibreglass. TCC-EZ uses one roll-on woven component, which Integra states can be applied in under five minutes while keeping the offloading properties of a traditional cast.
Which sizes and boots are available?
Casting systems come in 3 in and 4 in widths, as single applications or cases of 5 or 10, with or without Regular or Large walking boots. An Extra Large Charcot boot is also listed. We confirm codes with the quotation.
When should it not be used?
Total contact casting is for non-infected wounds with adequate blood supply. It is not used when vascular status is inadequate, the wound is infected, or deeper structures such as tendon, joint or bone are involved.
Who can apply it?
Application and removal should be carried out or supervised by a physician or licensed healthcare professional trained in total contact casting.
