Tandem Diabetes Care
Small pump. Smart control.
The Tandem Mobi holds a 200-unit cartridge in a 30 g body that can be worn on an adhesive sleeve, clipped on or carried in a pocket. Every setting, bolus and alert is handled in the Tandem Mobi mobile app, with a single button on the pump for quick boluses and alerts. With a compatible CGM, Control-IQ+ technology predicts glucose 30 minutes ahead, adjusts basal insulin and can deliver automatic correction boluses. The pump charges wirelessly and is rated IP28.
Key specifications
Why the Tandem Mobi
Small enough to forget
At 51 × 37 × 14 mm and 30 g with a full cartridge, Mobi can be worn on the body in an adhesive sleeve, clipped on or carried in a pocket, with short tubing to the infusion set.
Run from the phone
The Tandem Mobi app shows pump and CGM data and is the main controller for boluses, profiles and alerts. The pump button gives quick boluses and silences alerts.
Control-IQ+ automation
With a compatible CGM, the algorithm predicts glucose 30 minutes ahead, adjusts basal insulin and gives correction boluses when glucose is predicted to rise above a set threshold.
Type 1 from age 2, type 2 adults
In the US, Control-IQ+ is cleared for type 1 diabetes from age 2 and type 2 diabetes from age 18; Tandem also lists use in pregnancy with type 1 diabetes when the CGM is suitable.
Wireless charging, IP28
The pump charges on a Qi pad, typically lasting 3–5 days per charge, and is water resistant to 2.4 m for 2 hours with a cartridge loaded.
Where it is used
Home use by people with diabetes on insulin, prescribed and trained through diabetes centres, endocrinology clinics and paediatric diabetes services.

Questions
Is the Tandem Mobi available in the UAE and the GCC?

Availability is confirmed with each quotation.
How do I get a price?
Add it to your quote list or use Request a quote. We reply with pricing, lead time and the documents for your country, including cartridges and infusion sets.
How is it different from the t:slim X2?
Both run Control-IQ+ technology. Mobi has no touchscreen: it is controlled from a smartphone app and its pump button, holds 200 units in a 2 mL cartridge, weighs 30 g and charges wirelessly.
Which CGM and insulin does it work with?
In the US it works with Dexcom G6, Dexcom G7 and other compatible iCGMs, and is labelled for NovoLog or Humalog U-100 insulin. CGM and insulin are prescribed and supplied separately.
Can it handle Gulf heat?
Tandem specifies operation at 5–37 °C and storage at −20 to 45 °C. Insulin is more heat-sensitive than the pump, so keep both out of direct sun and parked cars.
How long does a cartridge last?
Each cartridge holds up to 200 units and is changed at least every 3 days with compatible insulins, together with the infusion set.
