Medtrum TouchCare
Tubeless pump. Closed loop.
The TouchCare Nano system combines a reusable pump base and disposable 200-unit or 300-unit reservoir patch with the Nano CGM. In Auto Mode the APGO algorithm lowers basal insulin when glucose trends low, raises it when glucose trends high and gives correction insulin, with Auto Meal Handling to simplify meal boluses. The pump and CGM are run from the EasyPatch app, with a touchscreen PDM as an alternative, and data can be shared with followers and clinicians.
Key specifications
Why the TouchCare Nano
Tubeless and small
The 200U patch pump measures 40.5 × 31.5 × 11.5 mm and weighs 13.8 g; the 300U version is 10 mm longer at 14.6 g for higher insulin needs.
Closed loop with APGO
In Auto Mode, Medtrum's APGO algorithm adjusts basal insulin to the CGM trend and gives correction insulin for highs, around the clock.
Simpler meals
Auto Meal Handling lets users announce a meal with a tap instead of precise carb counting, as described by Medtrum.
Calibration-free CGM
The Nano CGM sends a reading every 2 minutes for up to 14 days without routine calibration, and stores 14 days of data to fill gaps after a disconnection.
One app, or a handset
The EasyPatch app runs pump and CGM from a smartphone; a touchscreen PDM is supplied to every user as an alternative and for patch changes.
Where it is used
Home use by people with insulin-treated diabetes, prescribed and trained through diabetes centres, endocrinology clinics and paediatric diabetes services.

Questions
Is the TouchCare Nano available in the UAE and the GCC?

Availability is confirmed with each quotation.
How do I get a price?
Add it to your quote list or use Request a quote. We reply with pricing, lead time and the documents for your country, for the system and for monthly consumables.
200U or 300U patch?
Both last up to 3 days. The 300U patch is for people with higher daily insulin needs; it is 50.5 mm long and 14.6 g, against 40.5 mm and 13.8 g for the 200U.
Can the pump be used without the CGM?
Yes. The Nano pump works on its own with programmed basal rates and boluses; automated delivery in Auto Mode needs the Medtrum Nano CGM.
Is it waterproof?
The pump and CGM are rated IP28, tested to 2.5 m for up to 1 hour, so showering and swimming are possible within that limit.
Is it FDA cleared?
No. TouchCare Nano is CE marked and sold in Europe and other markets; we found no FDA clearance.
