Fifteen days. One small sensor.
CareSens Air measures glucose in interstitial fluid every five minutes and sends readings and trend arrows over Bluetooth to the CareSens Air app, or to an optional dedicated receiver. The sensor comes pre-loaded in a single-use applicator and needs no assembly. It is worn for up to 15 days and is water resistant to 1 m for 24 hours. Since the 2025 'Enhanced Reliability' update it works without routine calibration, although users can still calibrate it with a fingerstick reading.

Fifteen-day wear
One sensor monitors glucose continuously for up to 15 days, and the app gives a replacement reminder five days before it expires.
Small and light
The sensor measures 35.2 × 19.2 × 5.0 mm and weighs about 4.5 g. It can be worn while swimming, showering and bathing (IP48, 1 m for 24 hours).
Apply in one press
The sensor is pre-loaded in a single-use applicator with a safety cap. Users remove the cap, place the applicator and press the release button, with no assembly.
Accuracy with options
i-SENS reports an overall MARD of 8.7% in its 2024 study. The Enhanced Reliability version runs without routine calibration, and users can still enter a fingerstick value.

The CareSens Air app shows real-time values, trend arrows and alerts, and the Sens365 platform lets carers and clinicians view the data remotely.

Adults with type 1 or type 2 diabetes managing glucose at home, alongside diabetes clinics, endocrinology services and pharmacies.

Clearance & compliance
CE marked under Regulation (EU) 2017/745 (MDR): EUDAMED lists the CareSens Air Continuous Glucose Monitoring System (i-SENS, Inc., model CGM-ST-002) and the CareSens Air app as Class IIb, on the market. MDR approval was announced by i-SENS in February 2024. Korea MFDS approval June 2023. Supplied subject to registration in each destination country (MOHAP, DoH, DHA, SFDA or the equivalent authority). Certificates, declarations of conformity, IFUs and registration documents are provided with every quotation. Specifications are indicative and subject to manufacturer change.

Is the CareSens Air available in the UAE and the GCC?
KGG sources CareSens Air on request for clinics, pharmacies and diabetes programmes in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman. Supply is subject to registration in each destination country, and availability is confirmed with each quotation.
Do I need to calibrate it with fingersticks?
Not routinely. The current Enhanced Reliability version works without calibration, but users can choose to enter a fingerstick reading from a glucose meter if their readings do not match how they feel.
How long does a sensor last?
Up to 15 days. Warm-up after insertion takes about 30 minutes, and the app reminds the user five days before the sensor expires.
Can children use it?
Not yet. The current labelling covers adults aged 18 and over. In 2026, i-SENS applied to extend the age range to children and adolescents.
How should sensors be stored in Gulf heat?
Store and transport sensors between 5 and 30 °C at 15–85% humidity. Shipments to the Gulf need temperature-controlled logistics, and the shelf life is 12 months from manufacture.
