The Transportable Exam Station packs a rugged Windows tablet, keyboard, speaker and GlobalMed's connected exam devices into a waterproof, dust-proof rolling case. Teams open it, power on and start a live consultation in GlobalMed's eNcounter platform over Wi-Fi, cellular or satellite links, while the remote specialist sees exam data in real time. Swappable lithium-ion batteries give about 10 hours of use. The TotalExam 3.2 camera adds general, skin and otoscope imaging, with TotalVitals, ClearSteth and TotalECG as options.

What is the difference between TotalExam 3 and 3.2?
GlobalMed now supplies the TotalExam 3.2 with the station. It keeps the autofocus and otoscope heads and 60 fps streaming, with intelligent frame capture that selects the clearest of the last 16 frames.
Does it need GlobalMed software?
The station is built around GlobalMed's eNcounter platform for live video, device data and EHR documentation. Licensing and hosting are agreed separately; confirm integration with your telehealth system before ordering.
Will it work in desert heat?
GlobalMed rates the station for operation from −29 to 60 °C. The TotalExam camera itself is rated 0–42 °C, so keep the camera shaded in extreme heat.
How long does the battery last?
About 10 hours, or about 5.5 hours at maximum configuration. Batteries can be swapped without shutting the station down.
