The ZOLL AED 3 guides lay rescuers with voice prompts, full-colour rescue images and Real CPR Help, which reads compression depth and rate from the CPR Uni-padz electrodes and shows it on a bar gauge. RapidShock analysis can deliver a shock, if needed, within about five seconds after CPR stops. Child mode uses the same pads. Wi-Fi lets the AED report self-test status to PlusTrac program management and send event data for review.

Is the ZOLL AED 3 available in the UAE and the GCC?

Semi-automatic or fully automatic?
On the semi-automatic model the rescuer presses the shock button when prompted. The Automatic model warns everyone to stand clear and delivers the shock itself after a countdown, which adds about 5 seconds to the pre-shock pause.
Is Wi-Fi required?
No. The AED 3 works without a network. When Wi-Fi is set up, it reports readiness and failed self-tests automatically and can send rescue data; without it, data are downloaded by USB.
Will it cope with Gulf heat?
ZOLL specifies operation from 0 to 50 °C and storage from −30 to 70 °C. Install it indoors or in a shaded, ventilated cabinet so it stays within range in summer.
How is it different from the ZOLL AED Plus?
Both give Real CPR Help. The AED 3 adds a full-colour touchscreen with rescue images, RapidShock analysis, child mode on one universal pad set and Wi-Fi reporting.
