The ZOLL 330 is a self-contained suction pump with preset ranges for surgical, pharyngeal and tracheal suction, continuous aspiration of subglottic secretions (CASS) and intermittent gastrointestinal drainage. Vacuum is adjustable from 10 to 550 mmHg, and Smart Flow technology keeps operation quiet during procedures. It runs on an internal lithium-ion battery or AC/DC power and is certified by the US Army for use in aircraft.

Which disposables does it use?
The aspirator is not sterile and works with commercially available, GMP-compliant canisters, tubing and accessories. ZOLL lists a 1,200 cc collection canister for the 330.
How long does the battery last?
ZOLL quotes 3 hours under ISO 10079-1 test settings and 3 to 8 hours depending on vacuum setting. The battery reaches 90% charge in 2 hours.
Can it work in high heat?
ZOLL rates operation from −26 to 55 °C. The battery charges between 0 and 45 °C, so charge it out of direct sun in Gulf summers.
What is CASS mode?
Continuous aspiration of subglottic secretions: low, steady suction from 10 to 40 mmHg through a dedicated tracheal tube port, used in ventilated patients.
