The RA660 links up to eight audiometers, each with its own TDH39 headset and patient response switch, to one PC through an interface box. One tester runs all eight from Tremetrics HearCon software, with automatic or manual testing, voice instructions in several languages and talk-over to any or all subjects. Each audiometer has an integrated Bio-Acoustic Simulator for the daily calibration check, and an optional room monitor analyses ambient noise during testing.

Does it replace the annual calibration?
No. The integrated Bio-Acoustic Simulator covers the daily calibration and listening check. Annual calibration of each audiometer is still needed.
Does it test bone conduction or speech?
No. The RA660 is an IEC 60645-1 Type 4 pure-tone air-conduction audiometer for occupational screening and monitoring. Workers who need diagnostic testing are referred for full audiometry.
What computer does it need?
MAICO's datasheet specifies a Windows PC (Windows 7 or 10) connected to the interface box by USB, running Tremetrics HearCon software. Confirm current Windows 11 support with the quotation.
