Triangle is a standalone screening audiometer with a 2.8-inch colour touchscreen, a rechargeable battery for more than 12 hours of use and memory for 100 patients; it runs manual and automatic pure-tone tests in air conduction, with bone conduction and PC connectivity added by licence. Piccolo is a compact box controlled from a Windows computer through Inventis Maestro software over a single USB cable, in Basic (air), Plus (air and bone) and Speech versions. Both carry 12-month calibration and suit clinicians who test away from a booth.

Which one do I need?
Triangle is a standalone screening audiometer with its own touchscreen and battery, ideal for screening without a computer. Piccolo is a diagnostic audiometer run from a Windows PC, with bone conduction (Plus) and speech audiometry (Speech).
Can Triangle test bone conduction?
Yes, with the optional Bone Conduction licence, which also enables NBN and WN masking. Inventis offers the licence with or without a calibrated B71 bone vibrator.
Does Piccolo need its own power supply?
Not when run from a computer: one USB cable controls and powers it. Inventis notes the highest output levels are reached when it is powered from the supplied mains adapter.
How often is calibration needed?
Inventis states a calibration validity of 12 months for both devices; all calibration parameters are set through the device software. We can advise on annual recalibration when quoting.
