SHOEBOX
Hearing tests. No booth.
SHOEBOX PureTest runs automated, assisted or manual pure-tone air-conduction audiometry on an iPad with calibrated RadioEar DD450 headphones. Continuous ambient-noise monitoring and response checks flag unreliable results, so testing can take place in an ordinary quiet room or on site rather than in a booth. Results sync to a web portal that calculates OSHA and MSHA standard threshold shifts and produces hearing-conservation reports. Testing works offline for remote sites.

Questions
Is the SHOEBOX PureTest available in the UAE and the GCC?
KGG sources SHOEBOX PureTest on request for occupational health providers, clinics and employers in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman, supplied subject to registration in each destination country. Availability is confirmed with each quotation.
Does it really work without a sound booth?
SHOEBOX states PureTest is clinically validated for use outside a sound booth, using continuous ambient-noise monitoring and response checks that flag results for retest. A quiet room is still required.
Does it do bone conduction or speech testing?
No. PureTest performs pure-tone air-conduction audiometry, which is what occupational hearing conservation programmes require.
How is calibration handled?
Annual calibration is included in the service: you receive a due-date notice and newly calibrated transducers are swapped in advance.
Who makes SHOEBOX now?
