Morgan Lens

Hands-free eye irrigation.

The Morgan Lens is a moulded lens with directional fins, attached tubing and a standard Luer-lock adapter. Connected to a bag of irrigating solution through the Delivery Set or a standard IV set, it floats on the flow and vaults the cornea rather than resting on it, irrigating even when the eyelids are squeezed shut. Once in place it is hands-free, so staff can treat other injuries or transport the patient while irrigation continues. The maker states it can be inserted in less than 20 seconds.

Why the Morgan Lens

Hands-free once placed

Irrigation runs on its own, freeing staff to treat other injuries or move the patient without stopping the flow.

Floats, never touches

The lens rides on the irrigating solution and vaults the cornea, so it irrigates under closed lids without rubbing the injured surface.

Both eyes from one bag

With the Delivery Set, both eyes can be irrigated at the same time from a single bag of solution.

Ready for years

Sterile-packed with a shelf life of at least five years, it can sit in eye-wash kits and ambulances until needed.

Where it is used

Emergency departments, EMS and ambulances, industrial and chemical sites, laboratories, military and civil defence medical teams.
