SlateSafety
Every worker. Every reading.
BAND V2 monitors exertion, heart rate, core body temperature and heart-rate limit values for workers in physically demanding roles, and alerts the wearer with LED lights and vibration. Embedded cellular connectivity sends live data and alerts to safety leaders by SMS and email, with a 2.4 GHz local radio and gateways for cell-denied sites. BEACON V3 adds wearable or mountable environmental monitoring of heat index, eWBGT and noise. Thresholds can be custom or based on ACGIH standards.
Key specifications
Why the BAND V2
Physiology, not just weather
BAND V2 tracks each worker's exertion, heart rate and core body temperature, so alerts reflect how the individual is coping rather than site conditions alone.
Alerts both ways
The wearer is warned by LED and vibration while safety leaders receive SMS and email alerts against custom or ACGIH-based thresholds.
Connected where crews work
Embedded cellular connectivity, a 2.4 GHz local radio and satellite, Wi-Fi or Ethernet gateways keep data flowing, with weeks of offline storage for remote sites.
The site picture
BEACON V3 measures heat index, eWBGT and noise exposure and pairs with BAND V2 to show each worker's location and exposure on one view.
Where it is used
Construction, oil and gas, utilities, manufacturing, confined-space and encapsulated-suit work, lone working, first responders and military training.
