Pack. Press. Seal.

The OLAES Modular Bandage brings three jobs into one dressing: 3 metres of zig-zag-packed gauze for wound packing, an elastic pressure wrap, and a removable plastic occlusive sheet stored behind the dressing pad. A transparent pressure cup focuses pressure over the wound and can be removed to serve as a rigid eye shield. Designed with input from combat medics, it has no clips and is applied with gross motor movements, with control strips that stop the wrap from unrolling.

Why the OLAES Modular Bandage

Three dressings in one

Packing gauze, pressure dressing and occlusive sheet travel in a single pack, so one item covers more wound types in a small kit.

Pressure where it counts

The transparent pressure cup sits over the dressing pad and concentrates pressure on the wound as the elastic wrap is tightened.

A second use for the cup

Removed from the bandage, the rigid pressure cup can be used as an eye shield.

Built for gloved hands

No clips to fumble. Control strips keep the elastic wrap from unrolling while it is applied under stress.

Where it is used

Military and law-enforcement individual first aid kits, EMS and fire response bags, worksite trauma kits and field medical teams.

In the box

One OLAES Modular Bandage (elastic wrap, dressing pad, transparent pressure cup, 3 m of zig-zag-packed gauze and a removable occlusive sheet) in a vacuum-sealed pouch. Pack sizes and configurations are confirmed with the quotation.

Questions

Is the OLAES Modular Bandage available in the UAE and the GCC?

KGG sources the OLAES Modular Bandage on request for military, police, EMS and industrial buyers in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman, supplied subject to registration in each destination country. Availability is confirmed with each quotation.

Which size should I choose, 4 inch or 6 inch?

The 4 inch (85 g) suits limbs and individual kits where space is tight. The 6 inch (105 g) gives a wider wrap for larger wounds and torso coverage. A 4 inch Flat Packed version is also made for slim pouches.

What is the occlusive sheet for?

The removable plastic sheet stored behind the dressing pad gives the bandage its occlusive dressing function, so one pack can be used where an airtight cover is needed. Follow your protocol and training for its use.

How is it different from a standard emergency bandage?

Besides the pressure wrap, the OLAES adds 3 metres of packing gauze, an occlusive sheet and a removable pressure cup that doubles as an eye shield, with no clip to secure.

What is the shelf life?

The maker's product page does not publish a shelf life. Each pouch carries a lot number and expiry date, and we confirm dating with the quotation.
