Sage Prevalon

Turn with care. Stay in position.

Prevalon TAP 2.0 combines a low-friction glide sheet, a breathable microclimate body pad and two 30° body wedges joined by an anchor. It stays under the patient between turns, so repositioning to a q2 turning schedule needs no new equipment each time. Boost straps and positioning handles help staff move the patient without relying on grip strength, while the wedges hold a natural side-lying position and reduce migration down the bed.

Why the Prevalon TAP 2.0

Always in place

The system stays under the patient between turns, so it is ready whenever staff need to turn, reposition or boost, supporting q2 turning protocols.

30° side-lying, held

Two body wedges joined by an anchor help maintain a natural 30° side-lying position, offload the sacrum and reduce sliding down the bed.

Less strain on staff

Boost straps promote better body mechanics and reduce reliance on grip strength; handles allow small micro-turns to fine-tune the angle.

Skin microclimate

The microclimate body pad absorbs and locks in moisture while letting air flow through. Six pads are included and are changed when soiled.

Where it is used

Intensive care, high-dependency and step-down units, medical-surgical wards, long-stay and palliative care beds.

In the box

Two 30° body wedges, one low-friction glide sheet and six microclimate body pads, with instructions for use; 3 systems per case. Pack sizes and configurations are confirmed with the quotation.

Can it be used to lift patients?

No. Stryker states that the system must not be used to lift patients. It is for turning, repositioning and boosting, following your facility's safe patient handling policy.

What is the weight limit?

The TAP 2.0 is recommended for patients under 250 kg (550 lb). For heavier patients, the Prevalon TAP XXL is rated up to 362 kg (800 lb).

Can it be washed and reused?

Does it fit standard ICU beds?

The system measures 92 × 140 cm and is designed for a 92 cm (36 in) bed width, with the upper edge aligned to the patient's shoulders and hips aligned with the bed's hinge point.
