Accuro
See the spine. Guide the needle.
Accuro 3S is RIVANNA's current system for ultrasound-guided neuraxial anaesthesia. SpineNav-AI identifies lumbar landmarks, indicates the midline and measures depth to the epidural space in real time, while SafeTrack shows needle-tip depth and trajectory as the needle advances. Its Dual-Array probe places two curvilinear arrays either side of a central aperture, so a single operator can advance the needle along the midline within the imaging plane.
Key specifications
Why the Accuro 3S
AI on the live image
SpineNav-AI identifies lumbar landmarks, marks the midline and measures depth to the epidural space in real time, while AnatomyView overlays colour-coded labels on the scan.
Needle in view
SafeTrack uses a tracking element on the Tuohy needle hub to show tip depth and trajectory against the target anatomy as the needle advances.
Midline, in plane
The Dual-Array probe flanks a central aperture with two curvilinear arrays, so the needle travels along the midline inside the imaging plane.
Hands-free drape
The sterile kit's patient drape has integrated elastic bands that hold the probe against the back, leaving both hands free for the procedure.
Where it is used
Labour and delivery suites, operating theatres and procedure rooms for epidural, spinal and combined spinal–epidural anaesthesia.

Questions
Is the Accuro 3S available in the UAE and the GCC?
KGG sources the Accuro 3S on request for hospitals in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman, supplied subject to registration in each destination country. Availability is confirmed with each quotation.
How do I get a price?
Add it to your quote list or use Request a quote. We reply with pricing, lead time and documents for your country.
Is this the Accuro XV?
No. Accuro XV is RIVANNA's 3D musculoskeletal imaging system, FDA-cleared in May 2026 for bedside musculoskeletal exams. Ultrasound guidance for neuraxial anaesthesia is provided by Accuro 3S. We can quote either on request.
What happens to the original Accuro?
RIVANNA states it will discontinue sales of new Accuro systems on 31 December 2026, with final orders by 1 December 2026. Accuro 3S is the company's current neuraxial guidance system.
What does each procedure need?
One sterile, single-use SafeTrack Needle Guide Kit: needle guide with integrated probe cover, gel, patient drape, a SafeTrack Tuohy needle and a spinal needle for combined spinal–epidural procedures.
Is there clinical evidence?
A randomised trial in 80 obese parturients reported first-insertion success of 72.5% with the original Accuro versus 40.0% with palpation. RIVANNA notes this evidence relates to the original Accuro, not Accuro 3S.
