The ASUS LU800 is a software-based ultrasound system: each probe contains its own battery, beamformer and Wi-Fi, and connects directly to an Android, iOS, ChromeOS or Windows device running ASUS MediConnect. Five probes cover linear, convex, microconvex, phased-array and endocavity imaging, with B and M modes plus optional colour, power and pulsed-wave Doppler. Automated tools such as Auto Bladder, Auto EF and Auto IMT, voice control and DICOM/PACS export support bedside workflows.

One app, any screen
ASUS MediConnect runs on Android, iOS, ChromeOS and Windows, so the probe works with the phone, tablet or PC a department already uses.
Five probes
Linear for vascular, small parts, MSK and needle guidance; convex and microconvex for abdomen and obstetrics; phased array for cardiac and lung; endocavity for transvaginal and transrectal imaging.
Doppler when needed
B and M modes come as standard, with colour, power and pulsed-wave Doppler available as options, including combined B+M, B+CD and B+PWD views.
Measurements, automated
Auto Bladder, Auto EF, Auto IMT and Auto HR speed up routine measurements, and voice commands capture images or adjust depth and gain hands-free.
Where it is used
Physician offices, clinics, hospitals and other point-of-care settings, by qualified and trained healthcare professionals. The FDA clearance excludes EMS, ambulance and aircraft use.

ASUS MediConnect is available for Android, iOS, ChromeOS and Windows, and the probe connects over direct Wi-Fi. We confirm the supported device list and app version with the quotation.
Can it be used in ambulances?
The FDA 510(k) states the system is not intended for use in emergency medical services, ambulances or aircraft. Use in each GCC country follows its local registration and indications.
Does it include Doppler?
B and M modes are standard. Colour Doppler, power Doppler and pulsed-wave Doppler are listed by ASUS as optional, so tell us which modes you need when requesting a quote.
