VascuChek

No cable. Clear flow.

VascuChek pairs a rechargeable handheld transceiver with click-on, single-use Doppler probes, so there is no cable between probe and unit. Sterile surgical probes carry a patented sheath that covers the transceiver for intraoperative use, while clinical probes serve non-invasive peripheral checks. Audio plays through two built-in speakers or streams over Bluetooth LE to the speaker dock for more volume.

Why the VascuChek

No cable to manage

The probe clicks straight onto a rechargeable handheld transceiver. There is no lead between probe and unit; the only cord runs from the charging dock to the wall.

Built for the sterile field

Single-use sterile surgical probes have a patented sheath that covers the transceiver. Remington describes VascuChek as the only cordless vascular Doppler FDA-cleared for intraoperative use.

Sound you can hear

Two built-in speakers give real-time audio, and the signal can be streamed over Bluetooth LE to the speaker dock for more volume and clarity in a busy theatre.

Surgical and clinical

One transceiver takes sterile surgical probes for intraoperative checks and clinical probes for non-invasive peripheral assessment. Both share the same tip geometry and sensor size.

Where it is used

Operating theatres for intraoperative vascular, microvascular and neurological flow checks, and clinics and wards for transcutaneous peripheral vascular assessment.

In the box

VascuChek kit: handheld rechargeable transceiver, non-sterile charging base (speaker dock on the second-generation system) and one clinical probe. Sterile surgical probes are sold separately (10 per box, 4 boxes per case). Pack sizes and configurations are confirmed with the quotation.

Questions

Is the VascuChek available in the UAE and the GCC?

KGG sources the VascuChek on request for hospitals and clinics in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman, supplied subject to registration in each destination country. Availability is confirmed with each quotation.

How do I get a price?

Add it to your quote list or use Request a quote. We reply with pricing, lead time and documents for your country.

Who makes the VascuChek?

Remington Medical, Inc. of Alpharetta, Georgia, USA. The first model launched in 2022; the second generation, which adds a Bluetooth speaker dock, received FDA 510(k) clearance in November 2025.

Can the transceiver be sterilised?

No. The IFU warns never to sterilise the transceiver by autoclave, UV, gamma, gas, steam or heat. In surgery it is covered by the sheath of the sterile surgical probe and is cleaned and disinfected between uses as the IFU describes.

How long does a charge last?

Remington's product page states up to three hours per full charge and its FAQ reports about four hours of continuous use on average. Keeping the transceiver in the dock keeps it charged; the battery is not user-replaceable.

How should it be stored in Gulf heat?

The IFU gives an operating range of +15 to +30 °C and a storage range of −15 to +25 °C, with shipping up to +55 °C. Keep units and probes in air-conditioned storage and recharge at least every six months.
