Philips
Every heartbeat. Up to 14 days.
Philips ePatch is an extended-wear Holter recorder: a 16 g reusable sensor clips onto a skin patch and records every heartbeat during work, sleep, exercise and showering. It records a single channel for up to 14 days with patch changes, or three channels for 3–5 days with the lead wire adapter. After the study, data are uploaded for analysis with Philips Cardiologs AI, which flags more than 20 event types, including atrial fibrillation, pauses, AV block and ventricular tachycardia, for clinician review.
Key specifications
Why the Philips ePatch
Longer looks, more findings
Philips reports that extending Holter monitoring from 24 hours to 7 and 14 days with ePatch increased diagnostic yield, catching arrhythmias that come and go.
A small sensor, no wires
The 16 g sensor clips onto a chest patch with no lead wires in single-channel mode, so patients can sleep, exercise and shower with the Patch.
Three ways to wear
Patch, Flex adapter or Lead Wire Adapter, choosing single-channel recording for up to 14 days or three channels for 3–5 days.
AI-assisted reports
Recordings are analysed by Philips Cardiologs AI, with burden summaries, heart rate trends and patient-triggered events for clinician interpretation and sign-off.
No daily charging
The patient does not charge the device during the study; patches are changed on day 5 or sooner.
Where it is used
Cardiology and electrophysiology services, primary care, stroke and syncope pathways, and AF screening programmes, with application in clinic or at home.

How does it differ from a 24-hour Holter?
It records the same continuous ECG, but for up to 14 days instead of 24–48 hours, without wires in single-channel mode, which helps capture infrequent arrhythmias such as paroxysmal AF.
