BardyDx
Clear P-waves. Fourteen days.
The Carnation Ambulatory Monitor (CAM) is a slim, hourglass-shaped patch placed along the sternum, over the heart. This position optimises the atrial (P-wave) signal. It records a continuous single-channel ECG for up to 14 days, and patients can wear it while sleeping, showering and exercising. Data are uploaded to the BDxCONNECT cloud portal, and the clinic's own technicians or BardyDx's certified technicians produce the CAM Report.
Key specifications
Why the CAM Patch
Built around the P-wave
Sternal placement over the heart gives a clear atrial signal. Accurate rhythm diagnosis depends on this, and it is often hard to read on other patches.
Fourteen days, no wires
The slim, lightweight patch records continuously for up to 14 days, and patients can sleep, shower and exercise with it on.
Evidence against Holter and Zio
In published studies, CAM identified 2.8 times more patients with arrhythmias than a 3-lead Holter and 40% more total arrhythmias than the Zio XT patch (BardyDx).
Reports that read fast
The CAM Report presents relevant findings first, with near-, medium- and far-field ECG views, and full disclosure for in-depth review.
Your workflow, your techs
Clinics upload data to BDxCONNECT and choose whether their own ECG technicians or BardyDx's team analyse it.
Where it is used
Cardiology and electrophysiology clinics, emergency department discharge pathways, primary care and hospital outpatient arrhythmia work-ups.
In the box
Single-use CAM Patch (Recorder and Battrode) with instructions for use and patient diary. A download station and BDxCONNECT portal access are needed to upload and report data. Pack sizes and configurations are confirmed with the quotation.

Questions
Is the CAM Patch available in the UAE and the GCC?
KGG sources the CAM Patch on request for hospitals and cardiology clinics in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman. Supply is subject to registration in each destination country, and availability and reporting-service options are confirmed with each quotation.
How is it different from a Holter monitor?
CAM is a wire-free patch worn for up to 14 days instead of a 24 to 48-hour wired recorder. In BardyDx's 24-hour comparison study, it found 2.8 times more patients with arrhythmias than a 3-lead Holter.
Who analyses the recording?
Data are uploaded to the BDxCONNECT portal. Clinics can use their own ECG technicians or BardyDx's certified technicians, and BardyDx reports an average turnaround under 48 hours.
Can patients shower with it?
Yes. The CAM Patch is designed to be worn during sleep, showering and exercise. It must be removed before MRI, other electronic imaging or external defibrillation.
What is the shelf life?
24 months from the date of manufacture. Each patch is single-use and stops working after its recording.
