Water-Jel
Cool the burn. Cover it.
Water-Jel dressings are soaked in a water-based, heat-absorbing gel made from 96% purified water and 0.1% hyaluronic acid. They cool the injured area, relieve pain and act as a barrier against further contamination, and the gel does not need re-wetting. Sizes range from small 2 × 6 in dressings to face and hand dressings and larger universal dressings, each marked with the approximate total body surface area (TBSA) it covers. Kits combine dressings, gauze and scissors for workplaces and responders.
Key specifications
Why the Water-Jel burn dressings
Cools without water
The heat-absorbing gel cools the burn and relieves pain, offering an alternative when clean running water is not available.
No re-wetting
The gel evaporates slowly, so the dressing stays moist during transport without being topped up.
Shapes for every area
Dedicated face and hand dressings and conformable sheets fit undulating, concave and convex burn surfaces.
TBSA at a glance
Each pack shows the approximate total body surface area the dressing covers, helping responders estimate burn extent.
Where it is used
Industrial sites, fire and rescue services, EMS, military medicine, motorsport, kitchens and workplace first-aid kits.
