Thinklabs

Hear more. In your palm.

The Thinklabs One is a chestpiece-sized digital stethoscope: the clinician listens through headphones plugged into its 3.5 mm jack instead of tubing. Volume runs from 1 to 10 and five filters select low-pitched heart sounds, murmurs or higher-pitched lung sounds, with two favourites saved for quick use. The same audio output connects to recorders and telemedicine systems, carts and kiosks, so a remote clinician can hear the patient live.

Why the Thinklabs One

Up to 100x louder

Heart, lung and bowel sounds are amplified up to 100 times, with volume set from 1 to 10, which helps in noisy wards, with obese patients and for clinicians with hearing loss.

Five filters, two favourites

Filters from 30–500 Hz for heart sounds to 100–1000 Hz for lung sounds, plus a 20–2000 Hz wideband mode. Two favourites switch with a press, like bell and diaphragm.

Headphones, not tubing

A standard 3.5 mm jack takes the supplied earbuds or other headphones, and the same output feeds recorders or teaching set-ups.

Ready for telemedicine

The audio output connects to telemedicine systems, carts and kiosks, so a remote clinician can listen to heart and lung sounds during a video consultation.

Where it is used

Hospital wards, emergency and primary care, paediatrics, telemedicine programmes, nursing, medical teaching and simulation, and clinicians with hearing impairment.

How do I get a price?

Add it to your quote list or use Request a quote. We reply with pricing, lead time and the documents for your country, including telemedicine accessories if needed.

Can I use my own headphones?

Yes. The One has a standard 3.5 mm jack and comes with Thinklabs in-ear headphones; most wired headphones work, and a short adapter is supplied for wider plugs.

Does it work with telemedicine carts?

Yes. Its audio output connects to telemedicine systems, carts and kiosks; the optional Thinklink accessory switches the sound between the clinician's headphones and a recorder or video system.

How long does the battery last?

Thinklabs gives a typical 240 minutes of active listening per charge, enough for about one or two charges a week in normal use. The battery is charged with the supplied USB charger and is replaced by Thinklabs.

How should it be stored in Gulf heat?

Charge it at 5–35 °C and avoid use or storage in high temperature or dust. Thinklabs warns not to leave it in a hot vehicle; the device is not water-resistant (IP2X).
