North American Rescue
Warmth from the first minute.
The HPMK pairs a Heat Reflective Shell with a self-heating liner that runs for about 10 hours of continuous dry heat without external power. The 4-ply composite shell has a non-conductive reflective layer, a built-in hood, a fluid absorption pad and a tapered cut, with continuous hook-and-loop closures for 360° access to the casualty. It is vacuum-packed with Red Tip tabs for rapid opening and is listed as recommended by the Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (CoTCCC).
Key specifications
Why the HPMK
Heat without power
The oxygen-activated liner starts warming once opened and gives about 10 hours of continuous dry heat, with no batteries or mains supply.
A shell that reflects
The 4-ply composite shell has a non-conductive reflective layer and resists wind and rain, helping hold the casualty's heat in.
Head to foot
A built-in hood and tapered shape cover the whole casualty, with a fluid absorption pad inside the shell.
Open it anywhere
Continuous hook-and-loop closures around the perimeter give 360° access for assessment and treatment without removing the casualty.
Where it is used
Tactical casualty care, CASEVAC and MEDEVAC, ambulance and air transfer, mass-casualty and remote field teams.

Questions
Is the HPMK available in the UAE and the GCC?
KGG sources the HPMK on request for military, EMS, civil defence and industrial buyers in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman, supplied subject to registration in each destination country. Availability is confirmed with each quotation.
Why prevent hypothermia in a hot climate?
Trauma casualties lose heat fast through blood loss, wet clothing, air movement and exposure during transport, even in warm conditions. The HPMK is designed to reduce that heat loss during casualty care.
What is the difference between the HPMK and the HPMK-I?
The HPMK-I (item 80-1192) adds a hydrophobic insulating layer in a 5-ply shell to meet newer CoTCCC guidance. It uses the same 4-cell Ready-Heat blanket and is heavier, at about 2.2 kg / 4 lb 14 oz packed.
Can I buy the heating liner on its own?
Yes. The liner is the Ready-Heat self-heating blanket, which is also supplied separately for restocking or standalone use. Ask us to include it in your quotation.
Is it reusable?
The Ready-Heat liner is single use, as stated in its instructions. The maker does not state reuse conditions for the shell, so we confirm this with the quotation.
