MinXray

Digital X-ray, wherever you are.

IMPACT combines MinXray's TR90BH battery-powered X-ray generator with a wireless 14 × 17 in caesium iodide flat-panel detector and a laptop or tablet running DICOM 3.0 imaging software. The generator runs from a 60 V lithium-ion battery, reaches 40–90 kV and can be handheld for extremities or mounted on a tripod or stand for head, abdomen, extremities and gridless chest imaging. Images preview about 4–5 seconds after exposure and can be sent to remote radiologists. X-Ranger is the same system with a rugged laptop for military users.

Why the MinXray IMPACT

A complete DR system

Generator, wireless CsI detector, laptop and DICOM software come together in one custom transport case, so a full digital X-ray service can be set up away from a radiology department.

Battery powered

The TR90BH runs from a quick-change 60 V lithium-ion battery, with about 300 exposures per charge in its FDA submission, and needs no mains outlet at the point of care.

Images in seconds

The 14 × 17 in caesium iodide panel shows a preview about 4–5 seconds after exposure, with automatic exposure detection, and images can be sent to off-site radiologists.

Handheld or on a stand

Hold the generator for extremity views, or mount it on a tripod or stand for head, abdomen, extremities and chest imaging without a grid.

Where it is used

Field and disaster medicine, military medical units, sports venues, mobile clinics, community screening programmes and home-based care, within each country's radiation-safety rules.

In the box

IMPACT system: TR90BH battery-powered X-ray generator, 2 lithium-ion generator batteries with charger, exposure switch and cord, CsI flat-panel detector, 2 detector batteries with charger, laptop or tablet, MinXView imaging software and custom transport case. Tripod and stands are optional. Pack sizes and configurations are confirmed with the quotation.

Questions

Is the MinXray IMPACT available in the UAE and the GCC?

KGG sources the IMPACT and X-Ranger on request for licensed healthcare, government and emergency organisations in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman, supplied subject to device registration and radiation licensing in each destination country. Availability is confirmed with each quotation.

How do I get a price?

Add it to your quote list or use Request a quote. We reply with pricing, lead time and the documents for your country, with or without tripod and stand options.

What licences are needed in the Gulf?

As an X-ray system it needs radiation licensing in addition to device registration: in the UAE from the Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR), and from the national radiation regulator in each other GCC country, with trained operators and shielding rules.

What is the difference between IMPACT and X-Ranger?

They share the TR90BH generator, the wireless 14 × 17 in detector and the software. IMPACT is configured for clinical and commercial users; X-Ranger is MinXray's ruggedised version for military users, with a rugged laptop.

What can it image?

Its FDA clearance covers handheld imaging of extremities, and stand-mounted imaging of the head, abdomen, extremities and chest without a grid. It is not for mammography and does not replace a fixed X-ray room.

Will it work in Gulf heat?

MinXray gives an operating range of 5–35 °C for the detector. In summer outdoor work, keep the system shaded or in an air-conditioned vehicle between exposures.
