CUBEScan
Bladder volume, in seconds.
CUBEScan BioCon scanners use a 3D mechanical sector transducer to image the bladder in 12 planes and calculate its volume from those images. A live Pre-scan image helps the user find the bladder before measuring. The BioCon-900S is a cordless handheld probe with its own touchscreen; the BioCon-1100 pairs the probe with a 10.1-inch console, Wi-Fi Direct and HL7 data output. Both are used by qualified medical professionals in hospitals and other healthcare facilities.
Key specifications
Why the CUBEScan BioCon
Volume in about 2 seconds
A 3D mechanical sector transducer images the bladder in 12 planes and calculates urine volume or post-void residual from 0 to 999 ml in about 2 seconds.
Find it first
Pre-scan shows a live B-mode image and the Bladder-Point marker before measuring, so the probe can be centred on the bladder for a more reliable reading.
Handheld or console
The BioCon-900S is a cordless probe with its own 2.7-inch touchscreen. The BioCon-1100 adds a 10.1-inch console, Wi-Fi Direct, HL7 output and a built-in printer.
Records that travel
Barcode patient ID, data encryption and CubePro PC software keep results tied to the right patient and ready for the record.
Where it is used
Wards, urology and rehabilitation units, post-operative and catheter care, long-term care and clinics, wherever nurses and doctors check bladder volume at the bedside.

The 900S is a compact cordless probe with a 2.7-inch touchscreen, stated accuracy ±10 ml or ±10%. The 1100 adds a 10.1-inch console with built-in printer, Wi-Fi Direct and HL7 output, with stated accuracy ±7.5 ml or ±7.5%.

The BioCon-900S has a child mode for small volumes. Both models are contraindicated for fetal use and for pregnant patients, as stated in their FDA clearances.
