The Capno-H measures end-tidal CO2 by non-dispersive infrared absorption, using a sidestream pump or a mainstream sensor, together with finger-probe pulse oximetry. EtCO2, inspired CO2, respiration rate, SpO2 and pulse rate show on a 3.5-inch display with waveforms and 24-hour trends, and alarms are configurable. A built-in lithium battery gives about 10 hours of use, and data can be exported to a PC over USB. It is sold in the USA as the CMI Health PC-900B.

Why the Capno-H
Two monitors in one hand
Capnography and pulse oximetry share one handheld unit, showing EtCO2, respiration rate, SpO2 and pulse rate together with CO2 and pleth waveforms.
Intubated or not
Sidestream sampling works with a nasal cannula or airway adapter; a mainstream sensor option reads CO2 directly at the airway with a sub-60 ms rise time.
Compensated readings
Temperature, pressure, balance-gas and BTPS compensation, plus zero readjustment, help keep EtCO2 values consistent across settings.
A day of trends
Up to 24 hours of graphical and numeric trends for each parameter, with USB export for review on a PC.

Which patients is it cleared for?
The FDA clearance covers adults in a hospital environment under regular supervision of clinical personnel. Paediatric nasal cannulas are sold as accessories, so confirm the labelled patient range in the IFU for your market before paediatric use.
Sidestream or mainstream?
The Capno-H supports both: sidestream sampling via a nasal cannula or airway adapter with water filter, or a mainstream sensor at the airway. Confirm which configuration is included with the quotation.
Can it be used in Gulf heat?
The PC-900B flyer gives an operating range of 5 to 40 °C and 30–75% humidity. Avoid leaving the monitor in parked vehicles in summer.
