Getinge
One monitor. Built to expand.
PulsioFlex is Pulsion's modular platform for advanced haemodynamic monitoring in the operating room, emergency department and ICU. The base monitor runs ProAQT, which derives a beat-to-beat cardiac output trend from a standard arterial line; plug-on modules add calibrated PiCCO thermodilution, continuous central venous oxygen saturation with CeVOX and non-invasive liver function with LiMON, each recognised automatically. An 8-inch glass touchscreen with configurable layouts and the Spider-Vision overview shows the parameters, and data can be sent to a patient data management system or a network printer. It is used alongside the main patient monitor.
Key specifications
Why the PulsioFlex
Start simple, add depth
Begin with ProAQT cardiac output trending from an existing arterial line, then add PiCCO, CeVOX or LiMON modules as the patient's risk level and information needs rise, on the same monitor.
Calibrated when it counts
With the PiCCO module, transpulmonary thermodilution calibrates the pulse contour and adds preload volume (GEDI), extravascular lung water (ELWI), contractility and afterload for unstable patients.
Oxygen balance, continuously
CeVOX measures central venous oxygen saturation by fibre-optic spectrophotometry, showing changes between oxygen delivery and consumption continuously and reducing the need for repeated blood gas samples.
Liver function, non-invasively
LiMON follows the elimination of indocyanine green with a finger sensor to give the plasma disappearance rate, used before liver resection and after liver surgery or transplantation.
Small enough for any bedside
At 1.8 kg and 216 × 177 × 127 mm, with flexible mounting options and an 8-inch screen readable from wide angles, it sits beside the main patient monitor in theatre or ICU.
Where it is used
Operating rooms, emergency departments and intensive care units: perioperative goal-directed fluid therapy, high-risk surgery and haemodynamic management of critically ill patients.

Questions
Is the PulsioFlex available in the UAE and the GCC?
KGG sources the PulsioFlex on request for hospitals, intensive care units and operating theatres in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman, supplied subject to registration in each destination country. Availability is confirmed with each quotation.
How do I get a price?
Add it to your quote list or use Request a quote. We reply with pricing, lead time and the documents for your country, and can quote the monitor with the modules, ProAQT sensors and PiCCO catheters you need.
Has PulsioFlex been replaced by Pulsiocare?
Getinge launched the Pulsiocare monitor in 2024 and describes it as the successor to the PulsioFlex platform, with PiCCO and ProAQT in one battery-powered monitor. PulsioFlex is still listed by Getinge; we can quote either and confirm consumable compatibility.
What do I need to start with ProAQT?
The PulsioFlex monitor and a ProAQT sensor connected to a standard arterial line. The cardiac output trend starts from an internal value based on patient data and the pressure curve, or from an external value such as echocardiography.
Is it safe to connect to the hospital network?
Getinge's 2023 security advisory notes that older units run Windows XP Embedded and use the network only for printing. It recommends software 5.1.1 or later (Windows 7) where possible, network segmentation and leaving LAN unconnected if printing is not needed.
What are the operating conditions?
Getinge specifies 10–40 °C, up to 75% relative humidity without condensation and 700–1,060 hPa, with storage from −20 to 60 °C, which suits air-conditioned wards and theatres across the Gulf.
