CHISON
Cardiac ultrasound. In your pocket.
The SonoEye P3 is CHISON's phased-array member of the SonoEye palm ultrasound family. The probe connects to a compatible Android phone or tablet with a USB Type-C cable and runs the CHISON SonoEye app, giving B, M, colour flow and pulsed-wave Doppler imaging with Fusion Harmonic Imaging. Its small footprint suits intercostal cardiac windows, and the probe is rated IPX7 for cleaning. Programmable buttons on the probe let the user freeze, change gain or depth and save images with one thumb.
Key specifications
Why the SonoEye P3
Made for the heart
A 1.5–4.0 MHz phased array with a small footprint reaches between the ribs for cardiac views, with colour flow, pulsed-wave Doppler and M-mode for basic functional assessment.
Your phone, your scanner
The probe plugs into a compatible Android phone or tablet by USB-C and runs the SonoEye app, so the screen you already carry becomes the display.
One-thumb control
Programmable buttons on the probe handle freeze, gain, depth and image saving, so the other hand stays free for the patient.
Easy to clean
The transducer is rated IPX7 for immersion of the scan head, and CHISON offers sterile probe covers for procedures.
Three configurations
P3, V3 and G3 share the same probe and frequency range; they differ in which modes and software packages come as standard or optional, so the quote matches the clinical need.
Where it is used
Emergency departments, intensive care, anaesthesia, cardiology clinics, ambulances and field medicine, primary care and teaching, wherever a quick cardiac or abdominal look is needed.

How do I get a price?
Add it to your quote list or use Request a quote. We reply with pricing, lead time and the documents for your country, and can include a tablet, carrying case and software options.
Does it work with an iPhone or iPad?
The P3 user manual and FDA clearance cover Android devices only: Android 9 or newer, octa-core, USB Type-C, and a display of at least 1920 × 1200. Check compatibility with CHISON before using another device.
What is the difference between P3, V3 and G3?
All three use the same 1.5–4.0 MHz phased-array probe. They differ in which modes and software come as standard or optional; for example PW Doppler is optional on P3 and G3 and colour flow is standard on V3.
Which SonoEye probe do I need?
The P3 phased array is for cardiac, lung and abdominal work through small windows. CHISON also offers linear (P1, P2), convex (P5) and micro-convex (P6) SonoEye probes for vascular, superficial and general imaging.
Can it be used in Gulf heat?
CHISON specifies operation at 10–38 °C and storage from −10 to 50 °C. The probe draws power from the host device, which cannot be charged while scanning, so plan for a charged phone or tablet.
