SONON probes carry their own battery and stream images over Wi-Fi to the SONON X app on an iOS or Android device or a Windows PC, so there is no cable or cart. The SONON 300C is a 3.5 MHz convex probe for general abdominal, obstetric and gynaecological imaging to 24 cm. The SONON 500L is a 4–13 MHz linear probe, 260 g, for musculoskeletal, vascular and small-parts work. Both offer B-mode, colour flow, pulsed-wave Doppler and M-mode, with PACS upload and encrypted data handling.

Why the SONON
No cable, no cart
Each SONON probe has its own battery and Wi-Fi, streaming live images to a phone, tablet or Windows PC running the SONON X app.
Convex for the abdomen
The 3.5 MHz SONON 300C images to 24 cm for general abdominal, obstetric and gynaecological scans, including bladder, kidney, liver and fetal biometry.
Linear for the surface
The 4–13 MHz SONON 500L weighs 260 g and is made for tendons, muscles, joints, vessels, thyroid and breast.
Doppler included
Both probes offer colour flow, pulsed-wave Doppler and M-mode alongside B-mode, with length, depth and elliptical measurements.
Secure sharing
Images go to PACS or export as anonymised JPG or MP4 files; backups are AES-256 encrypted and the Wi-Fi link uses WPA2.

Is the SONON available in the UAE and the GCC?

Which model should I choose?
Choose the convex SONON 300C for abdominal, obstetric and gynaecological scans to 24 cm. Choose the linear SONON 500L for musculoskeletal, vascular, thyroid and breast imaging to 6 cm. Many clinics use both.
Which phones and tablets work with it?
The SONON X app runs on iOS 11 or later (iPhone 6S, iPad Air 2 and newer), Android 5.0 or later, and Windows PCs. The probe connects over its own Wi-Fi, so no cable is needed.
How long does the battery last?
Healcerion states about 3 hours of scanning for the 300C, with spare batteries in the box, and about 1 hour 30 minutes for the smaller 500L, which recharges fully in about 1 hour 30 minutes.
Can it be used for cardiac scanning?
Neither the 300C nor the 500L is FDA-indicated for cardiac imaging. Healcerion's newer SONON 500P phased-array probe targets cardiac work; its regulatory status should be confirmed before quoting.
