CAIRE
Continuous flow, on wheels.
The CAIRE Eclipse 5 delivers both continuous flow, in six settings from 0.5 to 3.0 L/min, and pulse dose, in nine settings from 16 to 192 mL per breath, so one unit can cover a wide range of prescriptions. Vacuum pressure swing adsorption produces oxygen at 90% +5.5/−3% at sea level. autoSAT keeps the pulse volume constant as breathing rate changes, and UltraSense with adjustable trigger sensitivity and rise time tailors delivery. It runs on AC, 12 V DC or a lithium-ion power cartridge, rolls on a removable cart and meets FAA requirements for use on board aircraft.

Add the Eclipse 5 to your quote list or use Request a quote. We reply with pricing, lead time and the documents for your country, and can quote spare power cartridges and a desktop charger with it.
Can it be used during sleep?
It offers continuous flow from 0.5 to 3.0 L/min as well as pulse dose, so it can follow prescriptions that need continuous oxygen. The prescriber chooses the mode and setting; it is not a life-support device.
How long does the battery last?
A new power cartridge gives up to 5.4 hours on pulse setting 1 and 4.4 hours at 0.5 L/min continuous, falling to about 2 hours at 2 L/min. On AC or 12 V DC it can run 24 hours a day.
Can it be used in Gulf heat?
CAIRE specifies operation from 10 to 40 °C and storage from −20 to 60 °C. Keep it in shade and out of parked cars; after storage outside the operating range, let it return to room temperature for about 3 hours before use.
Is it the same as the SeQual Eclipse 5?
Yes. The Eclipse was developed by SeQual and is now made and supported by CAIRE; the current model is the Eclipse 5 with autoSAT.
