Inogen / CAIRE / O2 Concepts
More time on battery.
Each concentrator accepts only its maker's batteries and power supplies, so accessories are listed by model with the catalogue numbers printed in the makers' user manuals. Extended batteries add hours between charges, external chargers let a spare charge while the concentrator runs, and DC cables power the unit in a vehicle. All three makers state that only approved accessories should be used.
Key specifications
Why the POC accessories
Hours by the battery
Extended batteries roughly double time away from mains: up to 12:45 h on a Rove 6 16-cell and up to 11 h on a FreeStyle Comfort 16-cell, at setting 1.
Charge a spare
External and desktop chargers charge a second battery while the concentrator runs from the first, for long days out or travel.
Power on the road
DC cables run the concentrator from a vehicle supply; O2 Concepts states the Liberty 2 runs on DC power at all settings.
Carry it your way
Carry bags, backpacks and hip bags made for each model keep vents clear and controls reachable.
Where it is used
Homecare and oxygen providers, respiratory clinics, patients who travel or perform Umrah and Hajj, and hospitals issuing portable oxygen at discharge.

Questions

How do I get a price?
Add it to your quote list or use Request a quote. We reply with pricing, lead time and the documents available for your country.
Can batteries be shared between models?
No. Each concentrator takes only its own maker's batteries: Rove 6 uses BA-500/508/516, Rove 4 uses BA-400/404/408, FreeStyle Comfort uses BT034/BT035, and Liberty 2 uses its own battery.
Will an external charger charge every battery size?
The Inogen BA-503 charger charges Rove 6 standard and extended batteries; the BA-403 charges Rove 4 batteries; CAIRE's BT036-1 desktop charger charges FreeStyle Comfort 8- and 16-cell packs.
How should batteries be handled in Gulf heat?
The Rove 6 operates at 5–40 °C and the Liberty 2 at 10–40 °C. Keep concentrators and spare batteries out of parked cars and direct sun, and remove the battery when the device is not in use, as Inogen advises.
Can I fly with spare batteries?
Spare lithium-ion batteries normally travel in cabin baggage under airline rules. Check with your airline before travel; quantities and approvals vary.
