Zenicor

Two thumbs. Thirty seconds.

The patient places both thumbs (or index fingers) on Zenicor One's two electrodes for 30 seconds, two to four times a day and whenever symptoms occur, over two to four weeks. Each recording goes by 4G/5G straight to a cloud database, with no app or Wi-Fi needed, and clinicians review it in Zenicor View with automated interpretation support. Zenicor reports up to four times more arrhythmia detection than 24–48 hours of Holter monitoring, and the device was used in the STROKESTOP and SAFER screening trials.

Why the Zenicor One

Simple for patients

Thumbs on the two electrodes for 30 seconds is all it takes. The device works on its own, with no smartphone, app pairing or Wi-Fi, which suits older patients and children.

Weeks, not hours

Recording two to four times a day for two to four weeks catches intermittent arrhythmias that a 24–48 hour Holter can miss; Zenicor cites up to four times higher detection.

Straight to the clinic

Each ECG is sent over the mobile network to Zenicor View, so clinicians can review recordings during the investigation and reach a diagnosis earlier.

Proven in screening

Selected for the STROKESTOP, STROKESTOP II and SAFER randomised atrial fibrillation screening trials, and described in more than 90 published studies.

Where it is used

Cardiology and primary care arrhythmia investigations, stroke units for post-stroke AF screening, paediatric arrhythmia assessment and population AF screening programmes.

How do I get a price?

Add it to your quote list or use Request a quote. We reply with pricing, lead time and the documents for your country, including Zenicor View licensing and connectivity terms.

How is it different from a Holter monitor?

A Holter records continuously for 24–48 hours. Zenicor One records 30-second ECGs several times a day for two to four weeks, which studies show detects more intermittent arrhythmias such as paroxysmal atrial fibrillation.

Does the patient need a smartphone?

No. Zenicor One sends each ECG directly over the mobile network (4G/5G) to the cloud; no app, phone pairing or Wi-Fi is needed.

Can it be used for children?

Yes. Zenicor states it is easy to use for adult and paediatric patients, and a published paediatric study used the Zenicor EKG-2 for arrhythmia detection.

Who interprets the ECGs?

Your clinicians review recordings in Zenicor View, supported by a validated automated interpretation algorithm. Zenicor can also connect clinics for remote interpretation assistance.
