PARI VELOX turns inhalation medicine into a fine aerosol with a vibrating membrane, giving a high output rate in a compact, near-silent device. PARI reports a total output of 497 mg/min with a mass median diameter of 3.8 µm and 74% of the aerosol below 5 µm for saline. The controller runs on three AA batteries or the multi-voltage power adapter, and the VELOXcare cleaning aid keeps the membrane clear. VELOX Junior adds a SMARTMASK Baby for infants.

Is the PARI VELOX available in the UAE and the GCC?

VELOX or VELOX Junior?
VELOX is for adults and children from about 3 years using the mouthpiece. VELOX Junior adds the SMARTMASK Baby for babies from about 2.5 kg, infants and children who cannot yet use a mouthpiece.
Which medicines can be used?
Only medicines approved for inhalation, following their own instructions. PARI states that VELOX is not designed for antibiotics used to treat bacterial airway infections such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
How often are parts replaced?
PARI gives an expected life of one year for the nebuliser (365 applications, 52 disinfections), two years for the mask and three years for the controller and VELOXcare. The VELOX Year Pack replaces the consumable parts annually.
Can it be used in Gulf heat?
PARI specifies operation at 5–40 °C and storage up to 70 °C. Use it indoors or in an air-conditioned car in summer, on battery power only in vehicles.
