I.C. Medical

Smoke captured at the source.

PenEvac combines a monopolar electrosurgical pencil with an integrated smoke channel, so plume is drawn away at its point of origin rather than by a separate wand held near the incision. The PenEvac1 has a telescopic tip that changes exposed electrode length during the case without swapping blades; the Non-Telescopic PenEvac is the lower-cost version with an adjustable, extendable blade. Both have a 45° swivel head, and I.C. Medical states they work with smoke evacuators from ConMed, Buffalo, Stryker Neptune and Zimmer Biomet.

Why the PenEvac

Captured at the tip

Plume is drawn into the pencil where it is created, so no one has to hold a separate evacuation wand beside the incision.

Adjust, don't swap

The PenEvac1 telescopes and rotates to change exposed electrode length mid-procedure, so the surgeon does not stop to change tips for deep or superficial work.

Works with your evacuator

I.C. Medical states compatibility with smoke evacuators on the market, including ConMed, Buffalo, Stryker Neptune and Zimmer Biomet, with connector options for common inlets.
