Aidar Health

Ten vitals. One breath.

The user seals the lips around MouthLab's mouthpiece and rests a thumb on its sensor for about a minute: first normal breathing, then two deep breaths with a forceful exhale. In that time it records single-lead ECG, heart rate and heart rate variability, SpO₂ and pulse rate, oral temperature, respiration rate and pattern, and peak expiratory flow and FEV1. Readings are sent over a cellular connection to the Aidar cloud and shown in the Aidar Care app, where the AIDI engine tracks trends for the care team. It is a spot-check device with no alarms and makes no diagnosis.

Why the MouthLab

A full check in a minute

One 60-second session captures cardiac, oxygenation, temperature, respiratory and lung-function readings that would otherwise need several separate devices.

Nothing to strap on

No cuff, clip or electrode wires: the patient holds MouthLab to the lips and rests a thumb on the sensor, which suits elderly and homebound users.

Breath-based lung function

Microphones measure air turbulence to derive respiration rate, breathing pattern, peak expiratory flow and FEV1 during forced exhalation.

Trends for the care team

Readings travel by cellular link to the Aidar cloud, where the AIDI engine scores and trends each patient for clinicians in the Aidar Care app and portals.

Faster vitals rounds

Aidar reports that a full vitals round in skilled nursing fell from about 720 to 87 seconds per resident with MouthLab.

Where it is used

Remote patient monitoring at home, skilled nursing and long-term care facilities, chronic disease programmes such as COPD and kidney disease, and clinical research.

In the box

Questions

Is MouthLab available in the UAE and the GCC?

KGG sources MouthLab on request for hospitals, home-care providers, long-term care facilities and remote-monitoring programmes in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman. It is supplied subject to registration in each destination country, and availability, including cloud and connectivity service, is confirmed with each quotation.

How do I get a price?

Add MouthLab to your quote list or use Request a quote. We reply with pricing, lead time and the documents for your country, and confirm the software and data-service terms with Aidar.

What does MouthLab measure?

Under its FDA clearance: single-lead ECG, heart rate, heart rate variability, SpO₂, pulse rate, respiration rate and pattern, oral temperature, peak expiratory flow and FEV1. Breath markers such as VOCs and ketones shown on Aidar's roadmap are not part of the clearance.

Can it replace a bedside monitor?

No. MouthLab is a spot-check device with no continuous monitoring or alarms. It suits scheduled checks at home or in care homes, while acute and high-risk patients need continuous monitoring.

Who should not use it?

It is cleared for adults only, as a single-user device. Aidar does not recommend it for people with implanted pacemakers or ICDs, and readings need the user to be still and well perfused.

How does the data reach clinicians?

MouthLab sends readings over a cellular network to the Aidar cloud, and results appear in the Aidar Care app. Network coverage and data-hosting arrangements for the GCC are confirmed with each quotation.
