BeamO puts four clinical measurements in a single 80-gram device: a single-lead ECG with atrial-fibrillation detection, a digital stethoscope for heart and lung sounds, a pulse oximeter for SpO2 and pulse rate, and a thermometer that reads temperature at the temporal artery without touching the skin. Results sync to the Withings app and can be shared with a doctor for remote review.

Why the BeamO
ECG with AF detection
Hold the device with both hands for 30 seconds to record a single-lead ECG. In the CE clinical study of 335 patients, conclusive recordings detected atrial fibrillation with 100% sensitivity against cardiologist-read 12-lead ECGs.
Digital stethoscope
A piezoelectric sensor records heart and lung sounds through dedicated filters. Listen live through wired headphones with the supplied adapter, or send the recording to a doctor for remote review.
Contactless thermometer for all ages
An infrared sensor reads temperature over the temporal artery without touching the skin, validated to ISO 80601-2-56 and cleared for people of all ages, including infants.

Family check-ups at home, telehealth consultations, follow-up of cardiac and respiratory patients, AF screening, and fever checks in clinics, schools and workplaces.

Clearance & compliance
CE-marked as a Class IIa medical device under EU MDR 2017/745 (notified body TÜV SÜD, 0123) for ECG with AF detection, stethoscope, SpO2 and temperature. In the US, FDA 510(k) K252474 (November 2025) clears the ECG, stethoscope and thermometer functions; SpO2 is not part of the US clearance.

Is the BeamO available in the UAE and the GCC?

Who can use the BeamO?
The thermometer and stethoscope are for people of all ages, including infants. The ECG and SpO2 functions are for adults: 18 years and older under the CE marking, and 22 years and older for the ECG in the US.
