The flat-panel detector transmits to the console for immediate review, so a repeat exposure is taken before the team leaves the room.
Dose and shielding designed for handheld use
Back-scatter shielding and collimation are built into the source; exposure is delivered under standard radiation-protection protocol with operator distancing.
For the family
If a relative cannot safely be moved for an X-ray, this brings the X-ray to their bed instead.
